1. About PlotProof

PlotProof is a construction documentation and evidence-management application designed to help users capture, organise, manage and share project evidence, including photographs, videos, notes and related project information.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure and for all activity carried out through your account. You must provide accurate information and must not use another person's account without permission.

3. Use of PlotProof

You must use PlotProof lawfully and only for legitimate business or project-related purposes. You must not attempt to access another company, project or user's information without authorisation, interfere with the service, or misuse the platform.

4. Construction evidence and uploaded content

You retain responsibility for the content and evidence you submit to PlotProof, including photographs, videos, notes and project information. You must ensure that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and use that content.

Evidence may be retained as part of the relevant company or project record. Where evidence needs to be withdrawn or voided, this may be recorded with an appropriate reason rather than silently removed.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep PlotProof available and secure, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, modify or improve the service from time to time.

6. Intellectual property

PlotProof, including its software, branding, design and underlying technology, belongs to or is licensed to PLOT PROOF LTD. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or commercially exploit PlotProof without permission.

7. Privacy and data

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Application data is currently supported by Base44, with evidence media planned to be stored using Cloudflare R2.

8. Limitation of responsibility

PlotProof is a documentation and evidence-management tool. Users remain responsible for their own projects, records, decisions, contractual obligations and compliance requirements. PlotProof should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional, legal, regulatory or construction advice.

To the extent permitted by law, PLOT PROOF LTD is not responsible for losses arising from misuse of the service, inaccurate information supplied by users, or matters outside our reasonable control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where these Terms are breached, where necessary for security, or where required by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be made available through PlotProof.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
